Mark
Guterman, M.A.
Executive Coach & Trainer
Mark has more than 20 years experience as a coach, trainer and consultant
in organizational issues affecting individual career management.
As president of his own consulting firm, Guterman designed career
planning materials for employees and managers, consulted on career
pathing, and was instrumental in administering numerous reorganization
and outplacement efforts for major companies in Silicon Valley.
As an author and product developer, Mark's first book Common
Sense for Uncommon Times: The Power of Balance in Work, Family and
Personal Life was published in 1994.
He is recently
co-authored a book chapter entitled, "Values in the Emerging Work
World," which appeared in a revised edition of New
Directions in Career Planning and the Workplace. He is
also co-author of ValueSearch,
a cross-culturally based process that helps individuals,
groups, and organizations determine the values that give meaning
to their life and work. Guterman has a BA from UCLA and an MA from
Sonoma State University.
He is a member
of the California Career Development Association, Career Planning
and Adult Development Network, and the Career Development Futures
Forum. He is a frequent speaker to organizations and conferences
throughout the United States, Europe and Australia.
