Marcia Davis-Cannon , M.A.
Executive Coach and Trainer

Marcia brings twenty years of leadership and executive business experience to Growth & Leadership Center. Her varied experience includes start-ups and consolidations, rapid growth and layoffs, relocations and outsourcing. She spent eleven years with Raychem in Menlo Park and six more with their subsidiary Elo TouchSystems. She worked within finance (corporate planning manager, sector controller), marketing (VP of Product Management), and manufacturing (plant manager, VP of Operations).

Earlier in her career, Marcia helped start up a new manufacturing plant for General Motors, and supervised a liquid detergent packing facility for Procter and Gamble. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in industrial psychology and from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in decision science.

An avid writer and published poet, Marcia leads writing groups and wrote her first novel last November as a part of National Novel Writing Month. She also enjoys ballroom dancing, public speaking, and finding under-valued small-cap stocks. She brings warmth, empathy, and strategic insight to coaching.
