Walker, M.B.A.  John
Walker is a specialist in CEO development, general management and
strategic planning processes. He is a people-facilitator and developer
extraordinaire
with nearly 20 years experience in management consulting. John began
in 1984 by taking temporary marketing executive and presidential slots,
and helping companies through times of transition.
For the past 15
years, he has focused on helping CEOs become more effective and in
growing their businesses. John works extensively and intensively with
dozens of CEOs of start-up high-tech, services and manufacturing companies,
has facilitated over 400 all-day executive meetings and has more than
10,000 hours of one-to-one personal coaching with CEOs.
A native of Atlanta,
John graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering,
and has received an MBA from Stanford University. John has been President
of four companies, including two that he founded. He is on the board
of advisors for Effective Organizations.
His quiet but forceful
demeanor generates trust and cooperation and allows him to cut-to-the-chase
whether dealing with individual reticence or in-the-boardroom dilemmas
to bring about timely and successful results. GLC is enthusiastic
