David Pilati, Ph.D, SPHR
Executive Coach, Mediator & Organizational Specialist

David brings a broad and rich background to his practice of helping individuals and organizations improve their performance. He is a successful executive, organizational consultant, trainer / educator and mediator with a strong technical background. He has consulted throughout the U.S. and in 12 foreign countries. Although David was formally educated as an engineer (Stanford Ph.D.) he has always been interested in the dynamics of human relationships. Early in his career while at GE, David became sensitized to organizational issues and their interplay with the human element, which has been his passion ever since.

After a 10-year career as an R&D engineer he began his second career in human services some 20 years ago. He now specializes in working with highly educated clients in technical fields where he speaks the language of his clients while at the same time inspiring them to improve their performance. As a trainer and educator, David has been an engineering and business management professor, designed and delivered management training courses in over 20 topics, as well as, designed and facilitated several leadership development programs. He recently designed, developed and delivered a world class facilitation workshop for a Silicon Valley career transition agency that resulted in significantly upgrading all their services.

David has also mediated hundreds of business, community and family disputes. He founded and developed a statewide mediation association and served as its president for 10 years.
